The Westside Breakers are proud to announce that a total of seven players have been selected to the Olympic Development Program (ODP) player pools for the 2003 and 2004 age groups.   Minji Kang (U13 White) and Jade Stanford (U12 White) were selected to the girls 2004 player pool.   Natalie Barnouw, Sydney Brown and Natalie Phillips (all U13 White) and Tatum Pearson and Kinzi Giani (both U12 White) were selected to the girls 2003 player pool.  Natalie Barnouw has also already been selected to the US Soccer Training Center pool and has been training with their coaches since February of 2015.  The US Soccer Training Centers are the primary place where players are identified for the US Youth National Teams.

ODP scouts watched games at the recent Cal South National Cup tournament where both the U13 White and U12 White teams performed well and advanced to the latter stages.  "We are thrilled for these talented young ladies for being recognized by the ODP program." said Breakers Technical Director, Mike Page.  "The experience they will get of playing and training with and against some of the best players in Southern California is invaluable."

Congratulations ladies and good luck at the upcoming ODP trainings!
