U13 White Wins The South Bay Odyssey Cup
       Westside Breakers Girls U13 White
  2008 Odyssey Cup Tournament Champions

The Westside Breakers under 13 white team won the girls U13 Silver flight of the South Bay Force Odyssey Cup tournament on December 13-14 weekend.   The Breakers lost their opening game by a score of 2-0 to host South Bay Blue.  On Saturday afternoon, they played another Westside area team, the Galaxy Wildcats, and were unable to score (0-0 tie) after dominating play the entire game and missing a penalty kick.  This set up a critical game for the Breakers early Sunday morning against another local Westside team, the Galaxy Devil-Cats, as the Breakers had to win to get to the final for a rematch against South Bay Blue.  The Breakers got off to a fast start and scored the only goal of the game in the first half and then held strong defensively in the second half to win 1-0.
