The Westside Breakers Girls Under 12 White team coached by Rod Lafaurie were crowned champions of the Ventura County Fusion Tournament held March 9-10.  The went undefeated and unscored upon during in winning the tournament.  Congratulations on a great weekend!  In addition, our Girls Under 11 Blue team coached by Brian Phillips finished as the runner up team.

Congratulations to our Westside Breakers Girls Under 10 team coached by Ryan Hosler for winning the Orange Mayors Cup on March 2-3 weekend.  The team won all three of their games scoring 11 goals and only give up 2.  We also wish to congratulate our youngest Breakers team, the girls U8's, who finished as the runner up team at the same tournament.

The Westside Surf Boys Under 12 team coached by Joe Pehanich finished as the runner up team in the recent Cal South State Cup Tournament (Govenors Division).  The Surf boys won 7 straight games (4 single elimination) outscoring opponents 18 goals to 5 to reach the finals on Sunday, February 17 in San Bernardino.  The team battled hard in a tough game but eventually lost 2-0 to A.S.D. Academy from San Diego.  The 2013 State Cup Govenors Tournament for Under 12 Boys had a total of 66 teams entered from clubs all over Southern California.  Taking the runner up trophy in a tournament with so many teams is an outstanding accomplishment and the club is VERY PROUD of our only boys team!  Congratulations!

The Westside Breakers Girls U16 Blue and U19 White teams have both been accepted into the prestigious 2013 Players Showcase Tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 15-17.  This is one of the premier college showcase tournaments in the U.S. and will be attended by hundreds of college coaches.  This is a great opportunity for our players to showcase their talents in front of college coaches from all over the U.S.

The Westside Surf Boys U12 team coached by Joe Pehanich won the 2012 SCDSL Boys U12 Flight 3 North Bracket this Fall.  The team finished with a record of 9 wins, 0 losses and 1 tie, scoring 35 goals and giving up just 6 goals.  They also won all four of their Boys U12 showcase games.  Congratulations to Joe and boys for a fantastic Fall league season!

The Westside Breakers youngest team won the Simi Valley Spring Cup in spectacular fashion winning all four of their games by a combined total of 24 goals for and 7 against.   The team is coached by Ryan Hosler and they have shown great progress in their first year of club soccer.  We are extremely proud of you girls!

The Westside Surf Boys under 11 team coached by Joe Pehanich won the Simi Valley Spring Cup April 28-29.  This team has been coming on strong this past winter and spring as they were also the runner up team at the Ventura Fusion tournament in March and advanced to the round of 32 in state cup in February.  Their hard work and commitment to improvement was rewarded as they won all four games by a combined score of 12 goals for and 1 against.  Congratulations boys!
